Classifications
There are two classifications of gifts that can be given to Kishwaukee College Foundation

Unrestricted gifts are not limited by the donor and enable the Foundation Board to support projects considered to be of greatest or most immediate need.

Restricted gifts stipulate a specific use, such as student scholarships, specialized program needs, equipment and teaching resources or general support.

Ways to Give Now
Both restricted and unrestricted gifts help the College and can be made through a variety of means. Here are just a few options:

• Cash has the most immediate impact and is the most common way to support the student and programs at Kishwaukee College. A cash gift is as easy as writing a check or using your credit card.

• Securities allow donors to gift shares of closely held stock, bonds, and/or mutual funds and avoid the capital gains tax on its appreciation, while taking a deduction for the full market value at the same time.

• Charitable Gift Annuities can be easily arranged by gifting cash or securities in return for fixed lifetime income payments.
